2007 UMB World Cup Sluiskil

As it was Dick Jaspers who won the previous two World Cup events in Sluiskil, many people wondered if the dutchman was able to clinch a third victory.

The Dutch three-cushion professional almost achieved this goal, however it was the Swedish champion Torbjorn Blomdahl who won the final with the closest possible margin 3-2 in sets.

For the Swedish " veteran" this victory indicated the start for a fantastic World Cup Run; winning 4 out of 5 World Cup events in 2007.
