Rafale 2.0 is the successor of Rafale 1.0, which was introduced in 2016 and has become one of the most successful tables in carom-history: first table entirely manufactured from aluminum, a new approach to rail-construction, endless customizing possibilities and a very exclusive design. As a result, numerous tournaments were played, and records broken, on this table. Development however continued, and it was decided that further upgrades were impossible to integrate in Rafale 1.0; hence Rafale 2.0, which was introduced at the end of 2019.
This new platform provides more possibilities for the upgrades we wanted to implement: improved stability, a highly advanced heating-system, quieter and above all, a “longer” rail-response while keeping the desired speed.
Final testing was conducted by Torbjörn Blomdahl, Eddy Merckx and Martin Horn and in the meanwhile, every single one of them has installed a Rafale 2.0 in their private training-rooms…
